Herb hike on the Kittelsthal panorama trail with a visit to the stalactite cave

Ruhla

What at first glance looks like a "conventional" meadow or a "normal" forest turns out to be a world of wild plants, trees and medicinal herbs on closer inspection. We show you how to identify and recognise the most important ones and what they are used for. The "Panorama Trail Kittelsthal" tour runs for approx. 7 km around Kittelsthal. The meeting point and destination is the Kittelsthal stalactite cave. We recommend sturdy shoes and a jacket - just in case! After all, the hike takes you down into the mysterious depths of the Kittelsthal stalactite cave. Temperatures there are around 11 degrees all year round.

It's best to pack something to drink on the way. We will arrive back at our starting point after approx. 3 hours.
