Exercise and water, culinary delights and balance experienced together, a sustainable excursion with guidance, information and culinary delights. Join us on a leisurely historical trail, part of our Kneipp Kurmeile, from our tourist information office (Reinhardsbrunner Straße 39) in the town centre into the legendary Lauchagrund. Past villas from the Wilhelminian era and Art Nouveau through the Struwwelpeter Park with the original carved figures and stories by Heinrich Hoffmann. The forest soon beckons with its benefits of pure, well-tempered, diverse and fragrant air. Rugged rock faces on both sides, sometimes cave-like, draw our attention. The fresh stream, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left, accompanies us with its babbling.
Then, on the way back, the destination of our excursion reveals itself, the Arenaris Kneipp facility. Arriving at this visible oasis, inviting us to rest and relax, it is easy to recognise the 5 principles of the Kneipp method, which are not juxtaposed but interwoven.
After the exercise and exertion of the trail, our warmed-up bodies find the cold water applications particularly beneficial by walking stork-style in the treading pool, as a foot bath or cold arm bath.
The forest as a therapeutic component with its olfactory stimuli provides us with the transition to the wild herbs, which we can find here in a rarely detailed compilation, imaginatively arranged as a pot of herbs in a raised bed, marvel at them and utilise their health-promoting effects as wild herb tea.
The delicacies that our chef Danilo has prepared in the meantime serve this goal, namely to be beneficial and healthy, as well as tasty and natural.
However, it is not only the composition of the dishes that is important, but also the "assembly" at the table in nature. Joy, peace and quiet and time are just as much a part of a healthy meal as culinary herbs, fruit and vegetables.
