TZG Ernstroda GmbH
TZG Ernstroda GmbH is a farm with its own slaughterhouse and direct marketing of Thuringian meat and sausage specialties. At the edge of the Thuringian Forest at an altitude of between 350 and 650 meters above sea level, we cultivate almost 700 hectares of arable land and 1750 hectares of grassland under difficult conditions. A large part of our grassland can only be used by grazing with cattle or water buffalo.
Our focus is suckler cow husbandry, i.e. the calves born on the pasture in the spring grow up with their mothers and stay together until they are grazed. In addition to cattle of the Fleckvieh and Angus breeds, we also keep Wagyu cattle and water buffalo on our land.
We have been selling meat and sausage products in our farmer's market since 1997. We process carcasses produced in our own slaughterhouse into traditionally produced sausage products, which are appreciated by our customers and for which we have received numerous awards. We only process beef from our own production. Short transport routes and our own slaughterhouse ensure good meat quality.
