Stag beetle festival 2023 successful again

On 24 June 2023, the annual and popular stag beetle festival of the Natura2000-Station Gotha-Ilmkreis took place again at Gleichen Castle. Numerous excursions were offered on this day. Our Geopark geologist was also able to inspire numerous children and took the guests into the world of dinosaurs. In the evening, the impressive stag beetles could again be observed up close.
