Friedrichroda / Gotha

The UNESCO Global Geopark Thuringia Inselsberg - Drei Gleichen and the Friedenstein Foundation Gotha today signed a new cooperation agreement in Friedrichroda to consolidate their future collaboration beyond the BROMACKER project. The aim of the two partners is to provide mutual supra-regional support in the tourism marketing of the foundation and the geopark as well as in the implementation of research projects and the establishment of new educational programmes.

"We will work even more closely together in the future to promote and develop the region's potential" agree Dr Tobias Pfeifer-Helke, Director of the Foundation, and Thomas Klöppel, Mayor of the town of Friedrichroda as the managing municipality of the Geopark.
