It was princely in Ohrdruf last weekend: the tower winders and the cannon salvos meant that no one in the vicinity could miss the castle festival in Ohrdruf. Ehrenstein Castle and its numerous exhibitions were reopened in glorious summer weather. Hundreds of visitors were on hand to enjoy the varied music programme on the various stages, the medieval spectacle with a knights' tournament, the baroque dance group or the storyteller. And with a bit of luck, you could also see the princely couple strolling through the castle park.
